If you want to see something that will likely blow your mind, other than somehow actually capturing Santa in the act of delivering your presents on Christmas Eve, then go see the Botanical Garden shine for Lightscape. In it’s second year in San Antonio, Lightscape is a one-mile trail featuring seven installations of lights accompanied by festive music and other awesomeness.
One Million Lights
We’d didn’t count them, but we believe it. The stunning display is accompanied by seasonal music throughout the garden. Installations include Winter Cathedral, Fire Garden, and Bluebonnets.
Food and Drinks
As long as the lights are getting you in the holiday spirit, how about a little seasonal food and beverages, too? There are a variety of options on site, including roasted s’mores.
How To Get Your Tickets
Many nights sell out, but if you can get in you should arrive approximately 15 minutes before your allotted time slot. The hours are from 5:30 until 9 p.m. from now until January 8. A new group enters every 15 minutes and most guests finish the trail in about 90 minutes.
