Christmas time will be here before you know! It’s the season of giving, gathering, and of course, eating. If you are looking for a sweet and salty snack that will satisfy a crowd, sport the festive Christmas colors, and satisfy the furry friends on Santa’s sleigh, be sure to check out this delightful recipe for Reindeer Food!
Here’s What You Will Need
- 1 package of miniature pretzels (20 ounces)
- 1 package of crispy corn cereal squares (we suggest Corn Chex!)
- 1 jar of salted dry-roasted peanuts (16 ounce)
- 1 package candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M’s)
- 24 ounces of chopped white chocolate (chips work too!)
Step By Step Instructions
- First, clean and clear a large counter space so you are ready to get to work! Cover the area in wax paper to allow for an easy clean up. Be sure to tape down each side!
- Now, mix in the following ingredients in a large bowl: peanuts, corn cereal squares, pretzels, and candy-coated mini chocolate pieces.
- Next, grab your white chocolate because it’s time to melt it! To do so, bring your stove to medium heat. Add the white chocolate to a double boiler. Boil over simmering water and stir occasionally, while also scrapping the sides. Once fully melted, you are ready for your next step.
- Pour the creamy, delicious white chocolate evenly over the mixed dry ingredients.
- Let cool and break into small pieces. Store in an airtight container!
- Enjoy whenever your sweet tooth desires!
Now, you are ready to feed the team that carries Santa’s sleigh. (or your family!)
